** Unrefined Jojoba oil (simmondsia chinensis)-is gentle on the skin and can help with all types of skin conditions, infections, itchiness and helps prevent flareups of psoriasis & eczema. It has natural anti-inflammatory properties and is a humecant which helps attract water to hydrate the skin. It also contains natural Vitamin E which is a well known anti-oxidant.

**Babassu Oil (orbignya oleifera)-babassu oil is packed ith antioxidats and healthy fats, it can help boost the heath of your skinand moisturize without feeling greasy

**Unrefined cold pressed extra virgin Coconut oil (cocos nucifera)- cleanses & nourishes skin leaving it soft and silky. It helps to quickly hydrate the skin locking in moisture, the high fatty acid content makes it deeply moisturizing. Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties and was traditionally used to help soothe wounds, rahses and burns. It's high lauric acid content  can also help eliminate harmful bacteria.

**Extra Virgin Olive oil Cold pressed (olea europaea)- has many benefits for your skin, it contains vitamins A,D,E and K which can help prevent premature aging, it has anti-oxidants which can help prevent skin damage, anti-inflammatory properties that  can soothe irritation and reduce redness, it can help to moisturize your skin, and it has anti-bacterial, anti- micobrial and anti-fungal properties that can help cleanse the skin and eliminate harmful bacteria. 

**Orange essential oil used in aromatherapy has a cheerful and uplifting scent that also creates a relaxing & calming effect. Used topically it is also beneficial for maintaining the health, appearance, and texture of the skin, reducing signs of skin conditions and promoting radiance & smoothness.

Vanilla essential oil (vanilla planifolia)- in aromatherapy helps to promote feelings of peace and calm with its sweet, rich and comforting scent. Vanilla also contains a rich concentration of antioxidants to help promote a rejuvenated appearance for the skin.

Sodium Hydroxide is also known as a lye (and caustic Soda)  is a common ingredient in soaps and cleansers. Once a soap is cured (the process of allowing saponification to complete and for water to evaporate out) there is no lye left in the soap, the chemical reaction changes the lye so that it is no longer present.

Despite its daunting reputation (based on its pure form) sodium hydroxide can offer several benefits for the skin when diluted in a natural recipe for products like soap. It can help with exfoliation to remove dead skin cells, as well as promoting a smoother skin surface. It can also help with Sebum Control which assits in balancing the skins natural oils reducing the appearnce of oily skin. Sodium Hydroxide in its pure form is mixed with distilled water to create a liquid form that is then diluted into the recipe.

The content of sodium hydroxide within our bars is actually no longer present due to the saponification process and chemical reaction.
