INGREDIENTS: Organic Slippery Elm Bark Powder (ulmus rubra)
The demulcent properties of slippery elm bark make it excellent for treatment of sore throats, coughs, and for soothing stomach and intestinal problems.
Dried slippery elm bark can be mixed with hot water to make a tea, or it can be added to smoothies or juices. To make a tea that is soothing to the digestive tract, slippery elm is commonly mixed with licorice root. The powder can be taken in capsule form or mixed with a small amount of warm water and used topically as an emollient poultice.

Origin: USAUlmus rubra is a species of elm that is native to North America. The inner bark of the slippery elm tree is the part that is used in a variety of traditional medicines.
USES: Use as a tea, or powdered supplement. As a tea steep 1 tsp (3grams) in hot water upto 3x/day. Or use as a powdered supplement in smoothies or juices. Can be used topically as an emollient poultice.
SAFETY & DOSAGE: Generally considered safe to use but possible allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Always consult your health care practitioner prior to using any herbal supplement, particularly if you are on any other medication, pregnant or breast feeding.
As with any new product always test for sensitvities.
STORAGE: Store sealed in a cool dry place, no need for refrigeration.
