Slippery elm barks demulcent properties make it excellent for treatment of sore throats, coughs, and for soothing stomach and intestinal problems.
Licorice root is one of the most widely used herbs worldwide for respiratory and digestive support. It is taken to soothe a variety of ailments including heartburn, stomach ulcers, digestive discomfort, sore throat, and coughs.
Marshmallow roots naturally occurring mucilage gives it a soothing quality, it is commonly used to help moisten sore throats, dry coughs, heartburn, stomach ulcer symptoms, diarrhea, and constipation.
SAFETY & DOSAGE:
Licorice Root- While gennerally considered safe to take, it is not recommended for use in persons with hypertension, liver disorders, edema, severe kidney insufficiency, low blood potassium, or heart disease.
Slippery Elm-Generally considered safe to use but possible allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Marshmallow root- Generally safe to use, but diabetic patients should monitor Blood Sugar levels.

Dosage Per Tea Bag- 3 gram Marshmallow Root, 3 gram Licorice root, 3 gr slippery elm.
